PaymentALL PAYMENTS must be paid in full at the time of the Meet and Greet for New Clients.  Preferred forms of payment are cash or checks.  For existing clients, payment is to be paid in full on or before the first day of service. Happy Bones Pet Sitting will add $35 plus bank fees for any returned check.
 
Holiday Charge -Please add an additional $5.00 per visit for major holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day,Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
 
Holiday Payments & Cancellations - All reservations for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's must be paid in full at time of booking.  All holiday reservations require a 7-day notice for changes and cancellations or Client will be charged a  50% cancellation penalty of the total amount due.  No credits will be given for early returns during holidayperiods.
 
Early Returns/Last Minute Cancellations - For non-holiday reservations, a 24-hour notice is required or Client will be charged the rate of one visit.  After cancellation fees, any remaining balance will be applied to future pet sitting visits only.  No refunds will be given. 
 
VaccinationsHappy Bones Pet Sitting requires all pets to be current on their vaccinations before our first visit. A copy of vaccination records should be supplied to Happy Bones Pet Sitting at the time the contract is signed & will be kept in our records.
 
Emergency Contacts - Contact numbers where you or your emergency contacts (at least 2) can always be reached during Happy Bones Pet Sitting service dates. Contact information for your veterinarian & a signed Veterinarian Release Form (provided by Happy Bones Pet Sitting) authorizing medical care for your pet(s) in your absence.

How did you hear about us?
Inclement Weather - Primarily severe storms, snow/ice conditions, etc.  You will entrust Happy Bones Pet Sitting to use best judgment in caring for your pets(s) and home if we are servicing you at the time of inclement weather. Happy Bones Pet Sitting will try to carry out your instructions to the best of our ability. The care we provide to our customer’s pets and their safety is our first concern. Customer selection of a nearby emergency contact has been requested.The inclement weather plan will be as follows: 1) Every effort will be made to drive to your home; 2) The service schedule may be changed, interrupted, or altered due to circumstances; 3) If it is not possible to drive safely to your home, your emergency contact will be notified, 4) You will be notified that the above mentioned contingency plan has been activated. 
 
KeysTwo sets of keys, codes and necessary instructions to enter and secure your home are required. If you live in a gated community, you must provide a gate card, remote control or appropriate access codes.   No keys will be returned by regular mail, hidden outdoors or locked in homes at last visit.  We prefer to keep your keys on file; however, if you wish to have your keys returned after the pet sitting assignment, we will make arrangements ahead of time to return your keys. We return keys the first time without charge. However, if keys are not left on file with us, after the first pet sit visit, Happy Bones Pet Sitting charges $5.00 each time we must come to your house to pick up or drop off keys.  Keys are kept in a secured lock system and are coded for customer’s confidentiality.   
 
Pet and house clean-up - Happy Bones Pet Sitting will properly dispose of pet waste and do our best to clean up any accidents your pet may have. We are not responsible for carpet/flooring stains created by your pet(s).
 
Leashes & ID Tags - All dogs will be required to be on leash during outdoor walks. There will be no exceptions. (Pets must wear visible ID tags when they are in our care).
 
Access to your Home by Others - Happy Bones Pet Sitting does not accept liability for other persons who will be in your home prior to, during, or immediately after our services have been rendered. Please inform us at the time of the consultation of anyone who may have access to your home while you are away. This includes cleaning services, maintenance personnel, friends, family and neighbors. It is understood that the client will notify anyone with access to the home that the services of Happy Bones Pet Sitting have been engaged.
 
Fences - Fenced in yards are wonderful play spaces for pets, however, no fence system is totally secure for your pet’s safety. Happy Bones Pet Sitting does not accept responsibility or liability for any customer’s pets that escape, are injured, fatally or otherwise, or become lost when pets are left out or given access to a fenced in area. 
 
Confirmation Process-All reservations will be confirmed by e-mail. If you do not use e-mail, you will receive a telephone confirmation. All costs for services are included in your confirmation. If you have not received an email or phone confirmation, your reservation may not be secure. Please call before you leave if you have not received a confirmation.
 
Client Return - Client must notify Happy Bones Pet Sitting when you have returned home. If you do not call and do not answer your phone, Happy Bones Pet Sitting will make additional visits and you will be charged for those visits. Happy Bones Pet Sitting must know that your pets are being cared for and no additional visits are required.
